1). Today's Warm-up Yoga was done by Jayeshbhai T Shah and the main Yoga by Manishaben. She conducted several Yogic poses to tone up many body muscles whilst synchronising the movements of legs and hands. Also conducted were 'Asanas' for problems with bad back, sciatica and for swelling of feet. She gave many health tips, too.

Please note next week ON 22/06/23 we will have CHAIR YOGA only – so do not bring your Yoga Mats. Also we have noticed that many members crowd near the main entrance with their Yoga mats, when there is so much space near the kitchen side. Please try and use the kitchen side if you see there is ample space there.
2). After lunch today, we will have a Bingo game with Gujarati songs and garbas and at Tea Time, NVK will serve Tea, Coffee and the sponsored Biscuits.
(Today's lunch menu included “garam orrmu”- 'ગરમ ઑરમૂ' , 'Bateta Vada', Channa/Bhatula. Bateta/matter nu saakh, kadhi etc ).
Afternoon programme started after Bingo tickets were distributed to members. Dr. Vinodbhai Kapashi announced the rules of the game and said there will be 3 prizes. Pradipbhai Patel will play the Gujarati songs/garbas music and Ellaben Shah will give 3 numbers for the songs, which will have to be checked against the Bingo tickets.
After music was played, Dr. Vinodbhai Kapshi asked members what song/garba it was and requested any member to come forward and sing that. Members came forward to sing and others joined to sing together tunefully.
Everyone enjoyed the Bingo.
3). Next Thurs - 22/06/23 we will have a “natak” - play which will tell the story of three generations – in India, Africa and England.
4). Secretary - Purnimaben Mehta announced that we had requested for empty recycled cans, milk pints, plastic bottles for decoration purposes which were to be brought today only. Please DO NOT bring any more next week.
