1). President - Vinod Parekh announced : a) We have again arranged a whole day Musical Programme with the Viru Vakhani Party, who gave us very nice music last Thursday as many members wanted another such programme.  An email has been sent to members yesterday.  On Thurs - 31st August, we will have the live Band and we will also celebrate 'Raksha Bandhan' on that day.  Any sponsors for water on the tables, or part lunch support is welcome.  Please co-operate with us and do not disturb others on the Round Tables, whilst the music is played.  You can book your tickets on the front Table for £2 and Guests are most welcome for £10.
b).  Our Bournemouth trip was a great success and all who had joined had enjoyed the same.  We have received many messages requesting us to arrange more of such trips.
c). Jain Centre London volunteers will be here next Thursday to help in registration for their "Pratishtha Mhotsav" from 23/08 to 27/08.  They will be in the Foyer so as not to disturb our programme.  They also wanted the names of those who wanted to join in the 'Varghodo' on Saturday -26th.
d).  Our AGM is on Thurs - 17/08/23 and the Notice has already been circulated with the accounts.  Please do attend on that day.
e). Yet again some members have gone in the offices of Sattavis Patidar Centre directly to request for WIFI code.  Please do not go direct to and disturb them.

2). Today's Warm-up Yoga was done by Nootanben Laxman and the main Yoga was conducted by by Manishaben.   Today Manishaben performed many Yogic poses to specially tone up Legs and Thigh muscles and joints stressing how to do these poses correctly.  Many thanks to both of them.

                                    
3). DONATIONS : i). Ushben Lakhani brought home made 'Salami' to celebrate the 'Purshottam maas', which will be given to all at Lunch Time. Many thanks from NVK.
ii). Packets of Biscuits from Pushpaben Patel for Tea Time.  Many thanks from NVK.
iii). £25 from Mahesh Savadia on the occasion of 75th Birthday of his wife - Saroj.  Many thanks and Best Wishes from NVK.  We pray that she will enjoy many more birthdays to come.

4). After lunch from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm we have an Interesting Quiz programme. Our Dr. Vinodbhai Kapashi will give full details and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide Tea/Coffee and the sponsored Biscuits.
(Today's Lunch Menu included : 'Garam Ormu', Crispy & Gota Bhajia, Puri, Mattar/Rigna nu saakh, Toor Daal etc.) 

The Programme started late  at - 2.15 pm, because of late arrival of Catering for lunch.
Dr. Vinodbhai Kapashi made Groups of 12/13 people on several Round Tables and each table had to choose a Leader.  Each Table was then given a Paper with 30 questions, which were to be answered.  The table with most correct answer will be given a prize.
Quiz programme went very well.  More than 150 people took part and tried to answer all the questions. All participants thoroughly enjoyed the programme. All questions are sent  herewith for your information.

 

5). Dr. Vinodbhai Kapashi gave details of the afternoon Quiz programme stating that a Paper with 30 questions on general knowledge,  Geography, History etc.  These will have to be answered by Groups of 10/12 members per Round Table.

Next Thurs - 10/08/23, we will  celebrate India's independence day celebrations. Please come in colourful dresses (Triranga).  Any one wishing to sing a song should write to me - 07966 006 261 stating which song  he/she will sing.
       
On 7th September, we will be celebrating Krishna Janmashtami.  Anyone (Ladies only for Garba) wishing to take part in the garba can give me her name.
IMPORTANT: Three to four practice sessions will be required. Please give your name only if you can come for practice.
