  1. ANNOUNCEMENTS THIS WEEK - THURSDAY 28 MARCH
    1. In Manishaben’s absence we had a very energetic Zumba session by Debjani Mukerjee. The Secretary reminded all that the clocks go forward at 1am on Sunday 31 March 2024 to mark the start of British Summer.
    2. 2024 Member intake - the President has received comments that we have taken on many new members. We have taken over 40 new members this year. Our quota has allowed us to accommodate this figure. NVK is very popular and the demand to be our member is high. The case is that due to our popularity – the yoga and the afternoon cultural programme – a lot more members are now attending every Thursday. Hence the high attendance. We should be pleased that NVK as an organization is able to fulfil its main objective of serving the elderly.

They were then asked to guess the song based on the clue provided and sing it. We were asking ladies and gents members in turn just for the sake of fun and test who wins the game. Some 25 songs were selected and except for the two songs our members guessed the songs correctly. Everyone present really enjoyed this. The convenor who had prepared this game, gave some information about the songs wherever applicable.
