We would like to remind you of the following notices:

ALLERGEN NOTICE

Please note that food served by us may contain or be manufactured in a factory that process allergens such as dairy, wheat, soya, nuts, seeds etc.

Navjivan Vadil Kendra and the yoga instructor do not take any responsibility and will not be liable or any claims resulting from joining any physical or outdoor activities. 

Participating in any such activities is entirely at the participant's  risk. Not all activities my be suitable for everyone.  

If an individual experiences pain at any of the activities, the individual must stop immediately and seek qualified medical help. 

Announcements from this week - Thursday 21 March 2024

1. The President was pleased to see that members followed instructions given last week, regarding allocated space for mat yoga. He stressed further the instructions given were as part of safety measures for the members and should not be interpreted as the committee being strict or difficult. 

2. The President highlighted the risks involved in members helping other ‘less abled members’ who attend NVK without their carer. It was pointed out that no members should take on any such responsibility. If they do, NVK will not be held responsible in the event of any mishap or injury.

3. Manishaben Wala is on away next Thursday so we will have Zumba instead by Debjani Mukerjee. 

4. E-mails via the new system. The Secretary informed that all future weekly emails will now be sent from the main info@nvk.org.uk (Navjivan Vadil Kendra) mailbox. Previously emails would come via Prafulbhai Shah. Now they will come directly from Navjivan Vadil Kendra. The system will run email delivery reports.

6. Donations

  1. £25 from Jyotiben D Shah towards ‘dates and popcorn prashad’ in celebration of Holi.
  2. £21 Khushi Bhet from Manishbhai Mehta.
  3. Biscuits, coffee, tea etc…donated by Varshaben Shah and Rashmiben Shah.
  4. £51 from Varshaben Shah who celebrated her birthday today.
  5. £51 from Hansaben Hasmukhbhai Parekh.

7. Afternoon activities

This afternoon we celebrated Holi. Our Cultural Programme Convenor, talked about the importance and why Holi is celebrated. Confetti was used instead of colour powder.
