NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 22/3
1.  Today, Manishaben conducted several warrior poses for all body joints to be kept healthy.   Many thanks to her from Kendra.

2.  DONATIONS :   £92.50 from Dr. Anilkumar & Jaindrabala Gandhi towards cost of milk for tea for the year 2018.  Also £92.50 from Kantaben Vaid towards the cost of milk for the year 2018.  Many thanks to all of them from Kendra.

3.  After lunch today we will have our member - Lalitbhai Mehta who will narrate his recent visit to Vaishnovi Devi Temple in India and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and also the cake sponsored by Lalitbhai & Chandrika Mehta.

Dr Vinodbhai Kapashi also narrated his experience in visiting Amritsar Golden Temple.
President Vinod Parekh thanked both of them for their narrations.

4. Next Thurs – 29/3, we will have a Hitesh Mistry, who will give a talk on the use of smart phones and show certain tricks related to phones.

5. Please note that NVK’s AGM will be held on Thurs – 12th April 2018, at 1.45pm.  This year there will be no election of Managing Committee members, but all reports and financial  statements etc will be given.  There will be a special lunch.

6. Our grand Commonwealth Day musical programme is on 5/4 and if you have not registered on payment of £1, please do so if you do not want to miss this.

7. British Summer time comes on this Sunday 25/3 at 1.00am in the morning.  So make sure you put your clocks one hour forward before you go to bed on Saturday.

8. Jayantbhai Doshi informed members that our Mystery Trip now had 150 names and members should give their preference on seating with friends by writing names on a list and handing over to Ashokbhai Mehta.  Once their names are put on coach, they must seat in the same one throughout the trip.  Special coloured rubber bands will be given for each coach.

9. Jasuben Sheth gave details of programmes in May and read out names of those taking part.

10.   President Vinod Parekh announced that today is the last day for members to give their names for the Commonwealth day musical programme.  So far over 320 names have been booked.
