NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 9th JAN ‘20
1). Today’s Warm-up Yoga was conducted by Dhirubhai Galani. Thanks from Kendra.
2). DONATIONS : * Today’s lunch is sponsored by Hansaben Parekh, to celebrate her husband – Anantbhai’s 76th birthday, which was on 6th Jan. Heartiest Congratulations and Best Wishes from Kendra and we pray that he will enjoy many more birthdays to come. Everyone joined in singing the “Happy Birthday” song for him.
*There is a change in the afternoon programme of ‘Antakshri’ and we will have a ‘Magic Show’ after lunch. Hansaben and Anantbhai have also sponsored the ‘Magic Show’. Kendra’s many thanks for his generosity.
* £25 from Champaben Bachulal Mehta in loving memory of her late husband – Bachulal Dayalji Mehta’s 2nd ‘Tithi’. Many thanks from Kendra.
* Pushpaben Patel has donated packets of biscuits for the afternoon tea on the occasion of her father – Shamji Mavji Bhanderi’s 35th ‘Tithi’. Many thanks from Kendra.
3). After lunch today, we will have the sponsored ‘Magic Show’ by Bharatbhai Patel – it is a very interesting show so please stay behind to see some real magic. At Tea Time, Kendra will provide Tea and the sponsored biscuits.
(Secretary – Jayantbhai Doshi introduced the Magician – Bharatbhai Patel, who started his show by calling 3 members at random on the stage to witness his act of straightening a bent Fork with twisted prongs. Many members had stayed behind to witness this mind blowing magic show which was being shown with wonderful music being played. Everyone clapped with the tricks shown. Bharatbhai had also called on another 3 members at random to show his trick of cards, which was again a fantastic card trick. Various other tricks were shown, which were again very well received by all present. The final show was with his wife in a box, where she is shown as cramped in very little space and comes out smiling.
Bharatbhai has made numerous appearances on TV channels in Germany, Holland, France, USA etc. He has received Nine Gold Medals in variety of magical categories. Members enjoyed the show very much. Secretary – Jayantbhai Doshi summed up the performance with thanks to Hansaben and Anantbhai for sponsoring such a wonderful show.)
4). Next Thurs – 16th we will have a talk on ‘Hearing Aid Guidance’.
5). Hard copies of January Newsletter, which has been uploaded on our Website, will be available later on for those members who do not have access to emails.
6). Members please note we have several members having the same name and surname and it is difficult for us to know who a particular person is. We request everyone to ensure that you write your full names henceforth whenever you correspond, give payment etc.
