NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON 14th APRIL 2016
1). Today, Manishaben conducted several Yogic exercises to help improving health problems. Many thanks to her from Kendra.
2). After lunch today, we will have a talk on Vegetarianism by Nitinbhai Mehta and as usual, at Tea Time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits.
3). Next Thurs – 21st, we are going to have a celebration of the Walking Group to appreciate and reward our members who have been regular walkers and to raise awareness for non- active members
4).  Kendra has arranged a Gujarati natak by Kiran Purohit -  “Beh beh wife pun ekaj life” on Sun – 15th May at the Federation of Pattidar Association, London Road, Wembley, at 12 noon.  Tickets are £10 for members, their friends or guests. Please note that we have already sold all the down stall tickets.  If you are interested, please book your tickets for the upstairs rows.  
5).  We are highly pleased that Age UK has yet again offered us the wonderful chance to visit the famous Lords Cricket Ground to see the Memories Match between Middlesex and Somerset on Sun – 22nd May.   Only members above 55 years of age can go and if you are interested, please register your full names (as on your ID) by 6th May latest. The match is a chance for people aged 55 and over to talk about old and create some new memories all while watching cricket.  It is an opportunity to meet like-minded new people over a cup of tea at the home of cricket.  You can also visit the MCC Museum for £1 to see the history of cricket.
6). Yoga Retreat – from 11th to 16th July at Pastoral Centre, Fareham Hampshire.  Only a few spaces now left.
7).  A reminder to the Committee Members – our committee meeting will be held next Tuesday -19th at 10.00 am here.
8).  NVA is holding the AGM on Sun – 24th April at Hayes.  Lunch is served at 1.00 pm followed by meeting.
9).  This is a security alert. Please be warned that some group of people are visiting homes pretending to be officials from Home Office.  They have documents with the letterhead of Home Office and claim to be confirming that everyone has a valid ID for the upcoming elections.  Take note these are imposters and are robbers.  They are not Government employees.
10). Everyone, including guests present today are requested to sign in the Regis`ter at the main Table.  Guests should obtain their passes.
11). Jausben Sheth announced that the next week’s programme will be celebrations of H.M. Queen’s birthday and the Walking Group and requested all to wear Blue, Red and White coloured clothes.  There will be no walk on that day.  Yoga will be as usual.
