Today’s main yoga was conducted by Jayeshbhai Shah. Kendra would like to
thank Jayeshbhai.

One minute silence was observed for Kanchanben Amritbhai Shah who passed away on Monday 11 July.

Thursday 21 July afternoon - we will have morning Yoga by Manishaben as usual. In the afternoon. We have arranged a special TALK on yoga and meditation. Please note that there will be no Yoga in the afternoon. The speaker is - ATMARIT SHRADDHA from Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, India.

Reminders:
a) Picnic - Tuesday26th of July 2022
Members joining the picnic will need to bring their own drinking water.
If members wish to bring picnic chairs they will be responsible for carrying their own chairs from the coach to the picnic spot.
This Picnic was arranged at the request of the membership. Due to a low take up , President Vinodbhai Parekh, urged that more members should buy their tickets asap. To avoid disappointment.
Place - Cassiobury Park in Watford, Cassiboury Park Car Park, Gade Avenue, WD18 7LG.
Timings - depart at 9:30 am from Kenton library. Those joining should be at the library by 9:15 am. Pick up from the park is at 5 pm. Drop-off at Kenton library is at 6 pm.
Charges -
Members - £15 each
Guests - £20 each
£10 each for those joining the picnic directly with your own transport.
Food - light breakfast will be given after reaching the park, packed lunch boxes will be served around 2/3pm. We will try to serve tea biscuits if hot water is available.
If any member wants to sponsor any item please contact Hasu Mandalia or Vinodbhai Parekh.
b) A day full of music-Thursday 28 July
We will continue to sell tickets again on next Thursday. So, to avoid disappointment please get your tickets from Ella Shah. Seating arrangements will be free for all on a first come basis.
You will only be allowed to keep a seat for your partner and no body else. This will be monitored strictly. Please observe these rules.
c) Membership fees
We request that those that have not paid their membership fees do so as soon as possible. A reminder to all those that have already paid their membership fees, but have not collected their receipts from the front desk. Please ensure that you collect your receipts, this coming Thursday, from the front desk on arrival rather than at lunchtime. It causes inconvenience to the committee member to deal with your request when the front desk has closed and everything is packed up.

Today’s afternoon Programme
Was a general knowledge quiz. Round 1 was very interesting with all members participating. 8 members with the highest score were divided into 2 teams of 4. This was whittled down to 1 team of 4. This was then divided into 2 teams of 2 each and the team with the highest score was declared the winner.- Everyone enjoyed the quiz and participated with enthusiasm.
6. Today’s attendance was 153.
