NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 15th SEPT 2016
It is with deep sorrow that we have to inform the sad news of ‘Arihantsaran’ of our member – Pankajbhai Kantilal Shah –Age 67- husband of our member – Shailiniben - who passed away on Sun – 11/9.  We pray to Lord Mahavir to rest his soul in eternal peace and that he gives courage to his family to bear the loss with fortitude.  Our sincere condolences to his family.  We will observe a minute’s silence.
A ‘PrathanaSabha’ is arranged at Navnat, Hayes tonight from 8.00 to 10.00pm and the funeral will be held on Sat – 17/9 at 11.00 am at the Golders Green Crematorium.

1). DONATIONS:  Today’s lunch is sponsored by Dhanlaxmiben Mehta.
2). After lunch today we will have Sudouku competition and as usual, at tea time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.
(Dr. Mahendra Vora had arranged the game and he gave details of the game to members and said that Sudouku is a very beneficial game as it is good for Dementia, Parkinsons Disease etc.)

3).  Next Thurs – 22nd Sept, we will have Bingo games.

4). You are aware that we are planning a grand celebration for our 10th Anniversary next year and are publishing a Souvenir where we have asked for your contribution of interesting articles to be included.  We also need adverts and the charge for full page is £150 and Half Page is £80.  You can also give well wish messages  - Quarter page £50 and 1/8th page £25.  Let us all get together and make this occasion a special one. Please try and support your Kendra.  We request for your ideas on presents for members which are realistic.

5).  On Thurs – 13th Oct Dr. Pragnaben Mandalia has arranged a ‘Talking Therapy workshop on the topic : Anxiety and Depression.  15 names have already been received – 14 from Ladies.  As 20 names were needed, a request to gents to give names was made.  Names to be given to Pragnaben.

6).  Jasuben Sheth announced that Dhanlaxmiben Mehta was celebrating her 80th birthday and she recited poem for her, songs were also sung.  Kendra’s congratulations and Best Wishes to her and we pray that she enjoys many more birthdays to come.
