NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 17th NOV 2016
We are pleased to note that today Manishaben’s husband has come to see our activities and specially to see how popular Manishaben is.  So many members have improved their health under her Yoga training. 
It is with a deep sense of loss and sorrow that we have to inform the sad news of ‘Arihantsaran’ of our member – Lilaben (Lataben) Kanakrai Doshi, afe 67 , who passed away onThurs- 10th Nov.  She was the wife of our member – Kanakrai Ottamchand Doshi.  We will maintain a minute’s silence and pray for her soul to rest in eternal peace and also to give strength to the family to bear the loss with fortitude.
1). DONATIONS:  £25 from Sobhagbhai Z. Shah on the occasion of his wife – Induben’s birthday, which was celebrated at the beginning of this month. Our congratulations and pray that she enjoys many more birthdays to come.
2). After lunch we have organised Whist Drive and as usual at tea time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits.

3).  Next Thurs – 24th Nov we have a programme of Antakshri.

4). Todate, already 180 members have renewed their membership for 2017. Remaining members are requested to complete the renewal form in every detail and hand over to Punambhai Patwa with payment of the £ 90 fees.  The deadline for renewal is 15th Dec 2016.  If you do not intend to renew your membership, please let us know.  Those who have paid, should collect their receipts from the Main Table. 

5).  If you have still not given your 10 votes to Kendra’s project submitted to Aviva Community Fund we sincerely request that you open the site, register and give your votes.  Tomorrow is the last day for voting.  So far we have got 925 votes.  Our heartfelt thanks to all who voted.  

6).  Our 10th Anniversary programme on Thurs – 16th Feb 2017 at the VIP Lounge – PARKING IS LIMITED HENCE WE ADVISE ALL MEMBERS TO SHARE CARS OR COME BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT. Also the tickets for members are now ready at the front desk and you can get the same for £5.

7).  The Gujarati film – “Wrong Side Raju” last Saturday was seen by 40 members. This was really very good film enjoyed by everyone as it was full of thrills with jokes and few lines of tunes from several old gujarati songs, sung with fantastic scenes. At the end when everyone was coming out, the ‘Gori’ actress – Kimberley Luisa McBeath was waiting in the foyer to meet audience and as usual they took “Potiku” – selfie photographs with her.
