Today’s warm up Chair yoga was conducted by Jayeshbhai Shah and main chair yoga was conducted Manishaben Wala. A huge thank you to both of them from the Kendra.

Donations
£51 from Mr Chimanbhai and and Ushaben Sheth on the occasion of their grandson Akhil Sheth achieving 2A* and 1A I. His A Levels. Akhil has successfully got entry into Nottingham University.
It was our member Ranjanben Kundalia’s birthday today and to celebrate this occasion her son had distributed chocolates to our members. Kendra would like to thank Ranjanben’s son.
£101 from Mr Indravadanbhai Sheth on the occasion of celebrating his 90th birthday. Thank you from Kendra to Mr Indravadanbhai for the generous donation.

As Paryushan starts on Wednesday 24th August, next Thursday we will meet as usual for Yoga in the morning followed by lunch. Please note that there will be no afternoon programme.

Today’s programme -we celebrated Krishna Janmashtami and Hindola Utsav. All came in colourful dresses to suit the occasion. Two tables were decorated by members with Krishna Bhagwan idols, flowers and Prasad. Members enthusiastically brought in offerings to present to Krishna Bhagwan.
Members sang Krishna stavans to welcome lord Krishna into this world while Dr Vinodbhai Kapashi articulate the story of the birth of Lord Krishna.
All enjoyed this celebrations and departed after having tea and biscuits.

Dates for your Dairies
8th September and 15th September - Annual General Meeting (AGM). Both the meetings start at 2 pm. If you are interested joining E/C, you should fill in a Nomination form.
20th October 2022 - Diwali Dhamaka at Sattavis Patidar Centre.
