ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURSDAY 19th FEBRUARY 2015

1.DONATIONS :  * Today’s lunch is sponsored by Kundanben Jayantilal Malde on the occasion of 6th ‘Tithi’ of her husband – Jayantilal Narshi Malde, which is today. Many thanks to her from Kendra.
                         * Home-made cakes sponsored by Kantaben Shah on the occasion of her son –Priyesh’s 50th birthday.  Kendra’s congratulations and thanks to her.  We also pray that her son enjoys many more birthdays.
      * Home-made biscuits sponsored by Sarojben and Pramodbhai Shah on the occasion of their 52nd Wedding Anniversary, which is on 12th March.  Our heartiest congratulations and Best Wishes to them and pray that they celebrate many more anniversaries to come.
    *£51 from Sudhaben Kapashi on the occasion of her birthday.  Kedra’s thanks and Best Wishes to her and pray that she enjoys many more birthdays to come.
  
2.  Today, after lunch we will have a special ‘Antakshri’ and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will serve the sponsored tea and biscuits.

3. Next Thursday -26th Feb, we will have ‘Holi’ and ‘Maha Shivratri’ programme.

4. On Sunday - 8th March at 12.00 noon, we have booked a Gujarati play “CHORNA HAATHMA CHAVI” by Kiran Purohit at the Pattidar Federation Hall, London Road, Wembley.  Tickets are for £10 for members and non-members. Pls book at the Main Desk with Punambhai Patwa. Over 80 seats have already been booked.

5.  Our AGM will be held in two phases on 12th & 19th March after lunch.  On 12th all the reports and accounts will be presented.  All names from the members standing for election will be finalised and on 19th the election will take place

6. We have organised a very colourful and enjoyable programme on 16th April to renew the marriage vows of couples.  A special ‘panditji’ will come on that day. Members wishing to take part should give their names to Jasuben.  So far 11 names of couples have been received and a few more names can be given.

7.  Our 18 day trip to Japan & Korea from 11th to 28th May is almost full and any new names will be put on the waiting list. The cost for members is £3400 and for non-members £3450.

8.  Everyone including all guests are requested to sign in the Register at the Entrance Table and Guests are requested to obtain their Passes from Vinod Parekh.

9.  Jasuben Sheth announced that today’s ‘Antakshri’ will be in a different format and everyone will enjoy the same.
She also announced that members wishing to take part for the next week’s programme on Holi and Maha Shivratri, should give their names.  They can sing, dance etc on the theme.

10.  Vinod Parekh announced that we are trying to book a programme – ‘Beyond Bollywood’ on Tuesday -2nd June at 7.30 pm.  The tickets are generally £57.50, but if we book 30 seats, it will be £32.50.  If you are interested, please give your names to Ellaben Shah or Vinod Parekh.
