Though the day was the coldest in Nov, and it was raining with gusty winds, those who were brave enough and lucky to attend the programme saw a fantastic reception which has never been accorded to any dignitary anywhere. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric and the dances, songs were fantastic but the speeches by PM – David Cameroon and then Shri Narendra Modi were met with such a reception that can never be imagined – it had to be seen and heard. Every sentence that Modiji spoke was met with not only loud claps but thundering applause which could be heard miles around the stadium for over 45 min.
He gave the good news of the restart of the London- Ahmedabad direct flights from 15th Dec.
