NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 1st SEPT 2016
‘PARYUSHAN PARV’ HAS STARTED AND WE HOPE JAINS WILL HAVE TAKEN PART IN SOME OF THE VARIOUS ‘DHARMIC’ PROGRAMMES. ALSO WISHING ALL ‘TAPSAVIS’ ARE ‘SATAMA’
1). DONATIONS: * ‘Chaas’ for the month of September is sponsored by Bhartiben Bharat Bhanji. Many thanks to her from Kendra.
2). Kendra’s Heartiest congratulations to all the following Grand-parents, their grandsons and family, for passing their exams with flying colours. Kendra also wishes Best Luck in their future careers.
JAYANTBHAI & RAMABEN DOSHI’S grandson –Niam – son of Bijal and Shamir obtained 7A* & 4As in GCSE
JAYSUKHBHAI & BHADRABEN MEHTA’S grandson – son of Raj/Shefali obtained 11A* including English, Spanish, Greek and Latin (100%) in GCSE
SHIRISHCHANDRA & MRADULABEN KOTHARI’S grandson – Akshay – son of Atul & Shilpa obtained 10A* in GCE
3). The afternoon programme was cancelled as only 83 members attended and when asked how many will be staying after lunch only a few members raised their hands,
4). Next Thurs – 8th Sept, we will have Mr Chauhan who is going to talk on Raw Food Diet and its benefits and how he has cured himself and others
5). Our musical programme on Tues – 23rd Aug was enjoyed by all and alll the photographs taken by Chimanbhai Sheth for this programme and also for the previous ones have been uploaded on our website : www.nvk.org.uk under Galleries.
6). Newsletter for the month of Sept has been emailed to members and a few hard copies are available for those members who do not have access to emails.
