ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURSDAY 22nd OCTOBER 2015
PLEASE NOTE THAT BECAUSE OF ALL HALLS BEING BOOKED ON THURS – 5TH NOV, WE SHALL INSTEAD BE MEETING ON TUES – 3RD NOV. KINDLY INFORM OTHER MEMBERS.
1).It is with deep regret we have to inform you that the husband of our member – Jyotiben Dhirajlal Shah passed away on 18/10. Our condolence to the family and we pray for the deceased’s soul to rest in eternal peace.
2). DONATIONS : * £25 from Batukbhai Sanghrajka on the occasion of his birthday.
* £25 from Dinaben Bilakhia on the occasion of her birthday.
Our Best Wishes to both of them and we pray that they enjoy many more birthdays to come.
3). HAPPY DUSHERA TO ALL. After lunch today we will celebrate Dushera – with theme talk and songs. Also one of our lady member has today sponsored ‘Kaju Katri’ during lunch to celebrate the festival of Dushera. Our heartiest thanks to her. As usual at Tea Time, Kendra will serve Tea and Biscuits.
4). Next Thurs – 29th we will have a surprise programme.
5). Please note that as our Hindu New Year falls on Thurs – 12th Nov, we will meet on Wed – 11th Nov- on Diwali day, when we will have a music band with full day musical programme. There will be a Special menu and no Yoga on that day. A few Guests will be allowed at £15.
6). Please renew your membership for 2016, by submitting duly completed form with your payment of £90 to Punambhai Patwa together with your membership ID in an envelope. Remember the deadline is 15th December. If you do not intend to renew your membership, please let us know. Also please ensure to fill your current contact details in the form. To-date over 100 members have already renewed their membership. Those who have already paid before should collect their receipts and cards.
7). If any member wants help or advise on making Lasting Power of Attorney or Will, please contact Jayantbhai Doshi or Baburai Shah.
8). Please note that Summer time officially ends this weekend and the clocks go back one hour and we revert back to GMT. Time changes on Sun –Oct 25th at 2.00 am in the morning, hence change your clocks etc one hour back before you go to bed on Saturday and enjoy one hour’s extra sleep.
9). If you are shopping at SAINSBURY’S and would like to join in the scheme whereby NVK will get 4% on the gross amount of the shopping and if you need any help or clarification, please contact Jayantbhai Doshi or Baburai Shah.
10). All members who had registered to attend the Grand reception at the Wembley stadium on Nov 13th – Fri should have received invitations with a code. Kindly follow the instructions and ensure that you book for your tickets. If any help is needed, contact Baburai or Jayantbhai.
11). Everyone, including guests, are requested to sign in the Register at the Entrance Table and Guests are requested to obtain their Pass.
