NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS – 22nd SEPT 2016
1). We welcome all members who have attended today. However several of our members have been unable to attend due to illness or celebrating some functions. We wish for their speedy recovery and attend our gatherings.
2). DONATIONS: * £50 from Jasumati Dolatrai Sheth (Jasuben) who celebrated her birthday this week.
* £101 from Harendrabhai Meswani who celebtrated his 75th birthday on 17/9.
Kendra’s Heartiest congratulations and Best Wishes to both and we pray that they both enjoy many more birthdays to come.
3). After lunch today we will have Bingo and as usual, at tea time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.
4). Next Thurs – 29th Sept, we will have a game of Cricket Teaser. All participants are requested to bring with them their hats or caps. Jasuben Sheth will give full details next week and Dineshbhai Zaverchand Shah will explain the rules.
5). On Thurs – 13th Oct Dr. Pragnaben Mandalia has arranged a ‘Talking Therapy workshop on the topic : Anxiety and Depression at 10.30am on the upper Seminar Room. 15 names have already been received – 14 from Ladies. As 20 names were needed, a request to gents to give names was made. Names to be given to Pragnaben.
6). Navnat Vanik Association has organised a Diwali Dhamaka – special Dinner & Dance on Sunday -30th Oct at Hayes from 6.00 pm with live music by Shama Group and Buffet Dinner. Tickets are £15 before 22/10 and £17.50 thereafter. For tkts contact our member – Bhogilal Sanghvi.
7). Navnat Vadil Mandal has organised a Gujarati play : ‘Waiting Rooms’ which is a comedy by artists from India, at Navnat Hayes, on Mon -26th Sept. play from 11.00 am to 2.00pm followed by lunch. Tkts for non-members :£12. Contact our member Rameshbhai Shah
