ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURSDAY 24th SEPTEMBER 2015
1). In Yoga today, Manishaben conducted exercises for avoiding Arthritis, Diabetes and Joints pains. Many thanks to her from Kendra. Also if you are interested the Al Jazeera Channel today showed an hour documentary – Correspondent’s Report - called ‘Yoga Belongs to whom?. This was very informative on different versions of the thousands of years old practise conducted in several parts of the world, and it is likely they may repeat the same.
2). After lunch today we will have a talk and demonstration by Arunbhai on the amazing benefits of Himalayan crystal salt to health and also we will have Shri Kashyapbhai Nayak from Patna, India, who has been invited by Mahavir Fondation during the Paryushan celebrations to give us some sangeet. As usual at Tea Time, Kendra will serve tea and biscuits.
3). Next Thurs -1st Oct we will have a musical programme by Dharmpal & Indiraben.
4). We have planned a trip to Manor House from Sun- 4th Oct to Fri – 9th Oct and a place for one gent is still available. A minibus has been arranged and pick up will be from Harrow Leisure Centre at 10.00 am.
5). The tickets for the Friendship matinee at the Royal Albert Hall on Fri – 9th Oct at 3 pm for the show- 50 years of James Bond movies music by Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has been sold out and only odd places are left. Seating together is not available. Hence we have decided to refund all those who had given names for the show. Please collect your refund from Ashokbhai Mehta. You can book directly for the show.
6). Please note that : *as our Hindu New Year falls on Thurs – 12th Nov, we will be meeting on Wed – 11th Nov( on Diwali). * Christmas falls on Friday so Thursday is Christmas Eve, hence we will meet on Wed – 23rd Dec. * We will be closed on Thurs – 31st Dec
7). A reminder to all the Kendra Committee members. We shall be meeting tomorrow – Fri – 25th here at Patidar Centre at 2.00 pm.
