NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THU-25TH FEB ‘16
1). Today at the start of Yoga, Manishaben gave special health tips to ladies only (gents were out of the Hall). She then gave more health tips during Yoga for all. Many thanks to her.
2). We welcome back all members who had gone on the South America and Antarctica cruise. The trip was highly successful and they did see some amazing scenery including gigantic icebergs.
3). After lunch today we will have a special “Antakshri and Memory Quiz” organised by Dr. Vinodbhai Kapashi and as usual at Tea Time Kendra will provide Tea and biscuits.
4). Next Thurs- 3rd March, we will have an interesting discussion programme on the topic :
“TAMARA MAT PRAMANE IDEAL COUPLE KONE KEHEVAY”.
5). Please note that our gathering on Thurs – 24th March cannot take place due to unavailability of the Hall. Hence we will meet on TUESDAY – 22nd March
6). Kendra is highly thankful to the members who whilst celebrating some occasions have always remembered to make a cash donation to Kendra or sponsored lunch or other items for members. However we shall be grateful if members give in writing the name of the donor/s and what it is for to avoid any misunderstanding that may arise later on.
7). Weekly announcements and interesting news emails are being sent to 336 members now. It is observed that a few members are not accepting the emails as confirmed by their email network. If you do not wish to receive any emails, please inform me. In future, if any mail will be rejected by remote host as confirmed by the network they use, the member’s names will be deleted from the mailing list and they will not get any more Kendra’s mail.
8). We remind those members who have been selected to represent Kendra in response to the invitation from the Lions Club of Feltham and Whitton -courtesy of Ashwinbhai Sheth –to ensure that they do go and attend the programme this Sunday at the Harrow Leisure Centre from 1.30pm.
9). Some charity in Mumbai has started to provide ‘tiffin’ to patients and relatives without any charge and also help of home medical equipment like wheelchair etc. See full details in the other email.
10). Everyone present here, including all guests, are requested to sign the Register at the Entrance Main Table and Guests should obtain their Passes.
11) Jasuben Sheth announced the names of those who are taking part in the next week’s discussion programme and requested them to come prepared. Participants will be given 3 minutes only. She asked for any more names.
