1). President Vinod Parekh announced : (a) We have a very pleasant and surprise news of a magnificent donation of £1000 from Amitbhai Shah – son of our members – Ratilal Devchand Shah and Kantaben Shah on the occasion of the 77th Birthday of Ratilal yesterday. This is a wonderful gesture as both of them have always loved to attend all our gatherings and even trips. Your donation is the second such recorded in the NVK's existence. Our heartfelt thanks and we pray to Lord Mahavir to give him good health and that he enjoys many more birthdays to come. Ratilal has devoted his life to many charitable causes and had given his service to the Oshwal Association of UK for 55 years including being the President and Secretary. Even with the Lions Club international, Masonic Lodge and Hindu Council Wembley he has given devoted services for many years. He has been a Recipient of MBE from the Queen. NVK is extremely proud to have such a dedicated member.

(b) Our Coach day trip to Brighton and Crawley is already over full for one coach and we are taking more names for the second coach. If any member is interested in joining, please give us your names latest by next Thurs – 04/04/23.
(c) As the weather is getting better and more members are now attending and doing Yoga with mats. We request that members now keep their Yoga mats nearer to each other and do not leave a large space in between. Also do not occupy chairs with your personal belongings. We request for your co-operation that you do not occupy a chair and also do Yoga with mat.
2). Today's warm-up Yoga was done by Jayeshbhai T Shah and the main Yoga was conducted by Manishaben. She conducted different Yogic poses for body joints, gave benefits of the poses and health tips . Many Thanks to both from NVK.

4) After lunch today we will have an interesting talk on Spiritual Healing by way of Tao Wisdom and by practising forgiveness in our life. Mr Mayurbhai Shah and his team will visit us and as usual at Tea Time, NVK will serve tea, coffee and the sponsored biscuits.

The afternoon programme began by Dr Vinodbhai Kapashi welcoming Mayurbhai Shah and his team of seven and gave brief details of the Spiritual Healing. The Hall was packed with members to see the programme.
Mayurbhai Shah then gave full details of the Tao Healing technology which focused on health, wellness, personal growth and more to help overcome ones challenges and create happiness and success in their lives. He explained the Tao Calligraphy which brings the essential Taoist principles of following the way, uniting humanity and heaven and cultivating health and longevity with the power of soul, mind and body.
He talked about the Tao Healing Hands which is an extraordinary spiritual transmission that carries the positive frequency and message of Tao source of love, compassion, forgiveness, gratitude and more with the help of the Calligraphy. He demonstrated the technique of Healing Hands which transforms negative information and messages that cause pain, sickness and other blockages to health or happiness, restoring balance and harmony. He chose the following three volunteers on the stage, who had some medical problems in their bodies. to show the body's natural abilities to work on healing.
Jasuben Sheth, Manjuben Pindoria, Pramodini Derodra and Naliniben Vasa.
Mayurbhai and his assistant showed how to follow the calligraphy and reciting the the love, peace, harmony song lyrics all together
After the demonstration, the volunteers were asked how they felt and the volunteer members gave their answers.
Members highly appreciated the programme.
After the programme a Vote of Thanks was given by Secretary = Purnimaben Mehta and the Group was presented with a token of appreciation.
5). Next Thurs – 04/04/23 we will have a programme to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty the King Charles III.
6). We have started to take names of members who want to join in the Day Trip to Brighton at the Main Desk. If you are interested please give your names with the payment of £25 each which is non-refundable.
7). Our EC member – Chimanbhai Sheth has requested members NOT to bring medicine packet foils as it is not cost effective to collect, transport and recycle the foils. However you can still bring your old spectacles and also milk bottle tops.
