NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON 28TH APRIL 2016
1). It is with deep sorrow that we have to announce that Nagindas Amratlal Avlani – who was the husband of our member – Naliniben Avlani passed away on Sunday -24th April.  Our deepest condolences to Naliniben and the family of late Nagindas.  May his soul rest in eternal peace. Om Shanti    Shanti    Shanti    (The funeral is on Sun – 1st May at 12 noon at the Golders Green Crematorium)
2).  Today the warm-up Yoga was conducted by Jayesh Shah and Ushaben Mehta informed members the exercise for bad back.  Many thanks to both. Manishaben conducted ‘pranayam’ and other exercises giving the benefits to our internal organs.
(A research conducted at the Hong Kong University has found that the ‘pranayam’ exercises are very good for Asthma sufferers).
3). After lunch today, we will have a talk by Ben Sri Ratna Prabhu from the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission- Delhi.
(The talk was on the spiritual values and the qualities about the religion that leads to acceptance, peace, harmony and bliss within and around us.)
4).Next Thurs – 5th May, we will have a Cookery Demonstration.
5).  Age UK has yet again offered us the wonderful chance to visit the famous Lords Cricket Ground to see the Memories Match between Middlesex and Somerset on Sun – 22nd May.   Only members above 55 years of age can go and if you are interested, please register your full names (as on your ID) by 6th May latest.
6). Yoga Retreat – from 11th to 16th July at Pastoral Centre, Fareham Hampshire.  Only a few spaces now left.
7).  Our member – Dhirubhai Galani has been elected as the President of Navnat Vanik Association of UK. He was the President for 2 years already. Our heartiest congratulations to him.
8).  Remember that next Thursday – 5th May there are elections for Greater London Authority, including the election of a new Mayor for London.  Please do ensure and give your vote to the candidates of your choice.  Let your votes be counted and choose the right candidates.
9).  A wax statue of Shri Narendra Modi will be unveiled today at the Madam Tussaud Wax Museum in London.
10). Everyone, including guests present today are requested to sign in the Register at the main Table.  Guests should obtain their passes.
11).  Vinod Parekh announced that the Gujarati Natak due to be held at Pattidar Association on 15th May has been postponed. This was due to circumstances beyond our control.  A new date will be announced later.  If you want to wait, we will give you further details as soon as Pattidar Association inform us.  If this is not suitable, we will refund the cash on presentation of the tickets.
12).  The Bowls practice as informed yesterday by email will be at the Century Bowling, Logan Road, Off Preston Road.
