NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON 2nd JUNE 2016
1).We welcome members who have attended today. However, some of our members are unable to attend because of ill health or other problems. We pray for their speedy recovery so that they can continue to come and enjoy our programmes.
2). Today, Manishaben gave several health tips Thanks from Kendra.

* £51 from Kumudbala Mahendra Shah on the occasion of the birth of their grand-daughter ‘Aamaya’ on 11/3 - to their son – Chirag and daughter-in-law Bhumika. Heartiest congratulations to the family.

3). After lunch today, we will have music programme by our member – Bhagwandas Bakhai and party.
4). Next Thurs –9th June, we will have a talk on ‘Anxiety and Depression’ from four speakers from the NHS.
5). We request all members to give us their support in getting advertisements as well as articles of interest for the Souvenir Brochure celebrating 10years of Kendra. The rates for adverts are :

We are very pleased to note that having circulated our flyer, we are receiving good support from the public. We thank heartily the Trustees of Arihant Charitable Trust and Mukeshbhai Mehta for their kind donation of £151 for our activities. They have wished us every success in pursuit of our noble activities.
6). We have organised a Day Trip to Stratford On Avon on Tues – 5th July with visits to a few places including the newly built Shakespeare House. The cost only of visiting each place is about £10 to £15 (this does not include the Transport cost), but a Group, we will visit 3 places. Part of the cost for the trip will be subsidised by NVK. Members will pay £20 and non-members £25. Please give your names to Ashokbhai Mehta.
7). A 19 days tour of Mayanmar (Burma) from 10th Nov to 28th Nov is being arranged and full details have been emailed to members. The cost will be £3000 for members and £3050 for Non-members. If you want more details, contact Jayantbhai Doshi.
8). Please note that we will not be meeting on Thurs – 7th July. Instead we will meet on Wed – 6th July. Also we will not meet on Thurs – 21st July, but will meet on Tues – 19th July.
9). If you are interested in taking part in the ‘Fathers Day’ programme on 16th June, please give your names to Jasuben Sheth or Ellaben Shah.
10). Our proposed trip to Scotland will most likely be in September – after ‘Paryushan’, if there is enough response. All interested should give their names to Vinod Parekh or Ellaben Shah. The tour will take participants throughout Scotland.
11). The Newsletter for June has been emailed to members and also uploaded on our Website. A few hard copies are available for those who do not have access to emails.
12). Everyone, including guests present today are requested to sign in the Register at the main Table. Guests should obtain their passes.
