NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON 31ST MARCH 2016
1).Kendra welcomes all our invited guests – Navinbhai Shah, Nitinbhai Parekh and ‘Lalubhai’ Parekh
2). Manishaben gave several health tips.    Many thanks to her from Kendra.
3). DONATIONS :  * ‘Chaas’ for the month of April is sponsored by Ushaben S. Mehta.  Many thanks from Kendra.
      * £50 from Dolatrai Sheth, who celebrated his birthday last week. Kendra’s heartiest congratulations and pray that he enjoy many more birthdays to come.
4). After lunch today, we will have a programme : “Chaai with Jasu” and as usual, at Tea Time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits.
Jasuben interviewed our special guest – ‘Lalubha’ Parekh a well-known social worker.
5). Next Thurs – 7th April, we will have our Annual General Meeting, a formal notice to that effect has already been circulated by email to members.  Please note that this Meeting is for members only and no guests will be allowed.  Also the meeting will only be for submission of reports and accounts and there will be no elections as per our Constitution.  Kindly download the copies of accounts which were emailed and bring this to the AGM.
6). On 14th April, we will have a talk on Vegetarianism by Nitin Mehta.
7).  Kendra has arranged a Gujarati natak by Kiran Purohit -  “Beh beh wife pun ekaj life” on Sun – 15th May at the Federation of Pattidar Association, London Road, Wembley, at 12 noon.  Tickets are £10 for members, their friends or guests.  You can have a late breakfast on that day and see the play and thereafter go and enjoy variety of food available on the Ealing Road with your friends.  For tickets contact : Vinod Parekh – vparekh42@gmail.com or Punambhai Patwa – punampatwa@hotmail.com. 8) You are aware that 8 Kendra members had joined with 10 others to go on the South America and Antarctica cruise in Jan/Feb.  Jayantbhai had circulated the report on this wonderful and exciting cruise. The report makes a very interesting reading with the Group’s day to day activities and highlights of the tours with photos.  We are really pleased to note that yet again Jayantbhai managed to make surplus in their tour and has donated £150 to Kendra.  Many thanks to all those 18 persons.
9). Last week we had a musical programme which was enjoyed by all and we have received numerous messages of appreciation. We thank all the members who take time to give Congratulatory messages for our  programmes.  A few photographs of the programme were emailed to members.   However, we have uploaded another 208 photos on our website under ‘Galleries’.
10).  Pujya Dipakbhai from Dada Bhagwan Foundation has invited all for satsang at the Harrow Leisure Centre from 1st to 4th April.  More details from Vinubhai Malde.
11). Everyone present today is requested to sign in the Register at the main Table and guests are requested to obtain their Passes.
12). Immediately after the announcements, Baburai Shah and Jayantbhai Doshi welcomed the two special guests – Navinbhai Shah, Harrow M.P. and Nitinbhai Parekh, Councillor for Harrow.  Both of them then spoke on the need for all British citizens to ensure that they vote for the candidate of their choice for the London mayoral elections.  They gave details of the working of the Mayor for the benefit of the Londoners.
(We are highly pleased to note that our President – Baburai Shah is yet again appointed as the Presiding Officer for the London Mayoral elections on 5th May and the EU referendum on 23rd June.  Kendra’s heartiest  congratulations to him.)
