3). Next Thurs – 11th Aug, two ‘sadhvijis’ from Jain Vishwa Bharti : Samani Pratibha Pragyaji (PHD from School of African and Oriental Studies-SOAS and Samani Unnata Pragyaji (currently studying PHD at SOAS) will visit us and they will talk about Preksha Meditation
4). On 18th Aug, we will have ‘Janmasthmi’ celebrations as well as ‘Raksha Bandhan’ programme.
5). Please note we will not meet on Thursday -25th Aug as all the Halls will be booked. Instead we will meet on Tuesday – 23rd Aug.
6). The Newsletter for August has been emailed to members and a few hard copies are available for those who do not have access to emails.
7). Navnat Vanik Association has organised a ‘Janmasthmi Mela’ at Hayes on Sunday – 7th Aug from noon onwards. All are welcome and entrance is free. There will be lots of food stalls, dancing and other entertainments. Also “Swar Kinnari Group” of singers will be in attendance from 2.00 pm onwards.
