NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA- ANNOUNCEMENTS ON 7th APRIL 2016
1). Manishaben gave several health tips.    Many thanks to her from Kendra.
2). DONATIONS : £61 from Bhartiben and Kishorbhai Kotecha on the wedding of their son – Tejesh to Komal on the 26th March.  Kendra’s heartiest congratulations to the newly wedded couple and Best Wishes.
3). After lunch today, we are having our Annual General Meeting for submission of reports and accounts.  There will be no election this year.   As usual, at Tea Time, Kendra will provide Tea and Biscuits.
4). Next Thurs – 14th April, a talk on Vegetarianism by Nitin Mehta.
5).  Kendra has arranged a Gujarati natak by Kiran Purohit -  “Beh beh wife pun ekaj life” on Sun – 15th May at the Federation of Pattidar Association, London Road, Wembley, at 12 noon.  Tickets are £10 for members, their friends or guests.  You can have a late breakfast on that day and see the play and thereafter go and enjoy variety of food available on the Ealing Road with your friends.  For tickets contact : Vinod Parekh – vparekh42@gmail.com or Punambhai Patwa – punampatwa@hotmail.com. 6). On behalf of NVK, our President and Hon. Secretary had sent a message wishing Her Majesty The Queen a Happy 90th Birthday.  This message has been inserted in the Queen’s Birthday book by The Online Book Co.  The message and the link was circulated to all members and can be viewed on the link : www.TheOnlineBookCompany.com. Her Majesty turns 90 on 21st April and national commemorations will centre on her official birthday weekend in June.
7).  We are going to have a celebration of the Walking Group on Thur – 21st April, to appreciate and reward our members who have been regular walkers and to raise awareness for non- active members.
8)  Yoga Retreat – from 11th to 16th July at Pastoral Centre, Fareham Hampshire.  Only     spaces left.
9).  Kendra’s Newsletter for April was emailed to members and uploaded on our Website. A few hard copies are available for those who do not have access to emails.
10).  Mahavir Fondation has organised a 2nights/3days tour to Antwerp and Holland from 30th April and will include the flower show, wind mills and Antwerp Deraser and Brussels.  Cost will be £230 PP.   Also they are staging a show (play, dances etc)on 24th April at the Kingsbury High School.  For further details contact Vinodbhai Kapashi.
