1.After lunch today we have a programme of Musical Chairs and discussions and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.
2. On 15th May we will have recitals of poems by Bhartiben and Pankaj Vora.
3. On 22nd May we have an ‘Antakshri’ programme and this will be in a different format.
4. On 29th May we will have Part II of the Quiz programme (continued from 1st May)
5. We have been informed that all the 35 participants who are in Manor House for 5 nights since 4th May are having a wonderful time. They are due to return tomorrow. We wish them best.
6.On June 22, participants go on a cruise of Iceland on Queen Victoria. If more wish to join, they will be taken only if cabins are available.
7. We will arrange a visit to SHARD and go to the top (Charge is £25) in mid-May. The Shard is the tallest building in London rising to 85 stories and just this week the tallest luxury hotel in Europe – Shangri La ( based on floors 35 to 52) opened. Nearby is a wonderful Borough Market where one can buy Indian food. Those interested are requested to give their names to Ellaben Shah.
8. For this Monday’s film at Cineworld Wembley, we have not been informed as yet. As soon as we know, we will inform members.
9. We request members to keep silence during Yoga. There is a lot of noise coming from the kitchenside.
10. Everyone is requested to sign in the Register and Guests are requested to obtain guest pass from Vinod Parekh.
11. Jasuben Sheth announced details on the different programmes. She requested that all the 17 members who have given their names to speak on the subject : “Parnela sukhi Ke Kunwara” should come prepared on 5th June. Everyone will be given maximum 3 minutes.
12. Vinod Parekh announced yet again for those who take their lunch and sit on the tables to ensure that they clear early to give chance to others also to enjoy their lunch.
