ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURSDAY 8th OCTOBER 2015
1). Today the Warm-up Yoga was conducted by Jayeshbhai Shah. Many thanks to hime.
2). DONATIONS : £51 from Bharatbhai Parekh in memory of the “third punyatithi” of Ushaben Bharatbhai. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
3). After lunch today we will have Bingo and as usual at Tea Time, Kendra will serve tea and biscuits.
4). On 15th Oct we will celebrate Navratri with garbas. There will be Chair Yoga on that day. Ladies are requested to dress in garba dresses like – ‘Bhandhni’ etc.
5). Those who had paid for the Friendship matinee show of 50 years of James Bond music at the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow, please collect your tickets from Ashokbhai Mehta, also we have a few tickets remaining, and if you are interested, please contact him.
6). Please note that as our Hindu New Year falls on Thurs – 12th Nov, hence we will meet on Wed – 11th Nov- on Diwali day, when we will have a music band with full day musical programme with garba. There will be a Special menu and no Yoga on that day. A few Guests will be allowed at £15.
7). Please renew your membership for 2016, by submitting duly completed form with your payment of £90 to Punambhai Patwa. Remember the deadline is 15th December. If you do not intend to renew your membership, please let us know. Also please ensure to fill your current contact details in the form.
8). If you are shopping at SAINSBURY’S and would like to join in the scheme whereby NVK will get 4% on the gross amount of the shopping and if you need any help or clarification, please contact Jayantbhai Doshi or Baburai Shah.
9). On this Sunday – 11th Oct, the Diwali in London Committee has organised to celebrate Diwali with the Mayor of London in Trafalgar Square from 1.00 pm onwards.
10). Everyone, including guests, are requested to sign in the Register at the Entrance Table and Guests are requested to obtain their Pass.
11). Vinod Parekh announced the following : * Those members who have renewed their membership for 2016, should collect their receipts and ID cards from Punambhai Patwa. Also those who bring their completed renewal forms and payment should also attach their ID card and hand all in an envelope to Punambhai. * Charity tickets for £1 for the show “In conversation with Sir Tom Jones” at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre on Sun - 11th at 8.00 pm are available for collection. * Members performing Yoga on the mats are requested not to block chairs also.
