1. SPONSORSHIP -

2. DONATIONS:
- £25 from Sarojben Promodbhai Shah on the occassion of their 62nd wedding anniversary which is today.
- £120 from Priti and Seju Shah for chaas for the months of April and May in memory of Late Shardaben Shah a past member of NVK.
- £101 from Vanik Council UK in honour of Chairman Manharbhai Mehta's presentation on 'World Kidney Day' to members of NVK this afternoon.
- £25 from Kiranben and Vijaybhai Sheth, Trustee of Jain Network and Vice Chair of Vanik Council, UK.
- packets of peanut chikki was donated by Usha Lakhani to all members at lunch time.
- Packets of biscuits from Madhuben Gulabbhai Shah.

3. Many thanks to all members for donating the hangers for the coat rail and also for the empty containers. We will reach out again when we need more empty containers.
4. Afternoon programme -
Our guests on this day were: Councillor Sunita Hirani , Mr Manharbhai Mehta and Mr Vijay Sheth. Manharbhai explained about the Kidney Donation awareness programme and requested all to volunteer for such donations. He explained about the function of our kidneys and how important it is to look after them.
Cllr. Hirani talked about her career and how she came into politics. An urge to serve the local community made her choose this path. She also explained about the role of the council and offered our members to help in their problems.
