Dear members

Jai Jinendra and Jai Shree Krishna

1. Today, we observed a one minute silence in memory of Manjulaben Shah who passed away on Monday, the 25th of May 2026 at the age of 89 years. Manjulaben was a regular member of NVK and she used to attend every Thursday with a carer. She attended last Thursday as well.

2. SPONSORSHIP:
We welcome sponsors for chaas-£60 per month. Please give your name to Ella Shah at the front desk.

We also welcome lunch sponsors-£551 for full standard lunch. Please speak to the President.

3. Member Assistance and Safety

Blocking the walkway - members are reminded to not block walk ways and position their chairs for yoga. This is health and safety issue and it makes it difficult for other members to use the walkway for exit or restroom use. Once members are alerted that they are obstructing the walkway, and asked to move they should oblige without creating a fuss.

Members are kindly advised not to assist others with severe disabilities or illness in finding or moving chairs, especially into specific positions. While this is often done with good intentions, it may pose a health and safety risk.

If any issues arise, liability would fall on NVK, which we must avoid. Members with disabilities, along with their partners or carers, should seek assistance only from committee members, who will do their best to help safely.

Please take note that seats reserved for the differently abled members is only for those with wheelchairs and walking frames and NOT for those with walking sticks.

4. Whats App registration - Mandatory

Everyone attending must register for catering purpose.

Members are once again reminded to vote in NVK registration group poll by every Monday.

Your registration on whats app group will help us get accurate estimate of attendees each week, allowing us to make proper arrangements for catering purpose. Therefore, all members are requested to register their attendance by every Monday.
