We sincerely apologise for this omission. (However - please not that this was corrected in our Newsletter of December 2023 )
ii) Today, we have some new faces coming, they are some of the new members taken for this year. Please stand up so we can welcome you on behalf of NVK. We request you to move around and meet your friends and also come forward to show your talents and interests in the various afternoon programmes. We will introduce you to our Executive Committee members when further new members are taken.
iii) For the new members : At Lunch time, please show your Membership Cards and only join in the Queue when your line is called, do not rush. We have this discipline and also do not rush in for refill some items until all members and Volunteers have got their dishes.
2).Today we had Yoga by Rupaliben. She conducted many Yogic poses to tone up body joints and muscles insisting on how to do the same correctly and to synchronise with correct movements. She also did 'Savashan' and 'Surya Namaskar' and gave benefits of doing the poses. Many thanks from NVK
3). DONATIONS : One box of Biscuits from an anonymous donor. Also another Donor gave packets of biscuits. Many thanks to both from NVK.
4). After lunch today we are going to play Bingo game with token prizes and as usual at Tea Time, NVK will provide Tea/Coffee and the sponsored Biscuits.

The afternoon programme of Bingo games started at 2.00 pm with Praful Shah as the Bingo Master. The Hall was packed with members joining to play Bingo, which has always been a very popular programme. Token prizes were given to the winners.
5). We repeat what we have always been announcing that the kitchen area is restricted to only kitchen volunteers due to the slippery floor and danger to health. Please follow the instructions.
