1). President - Vinod Parekh announced : i) He wished all members and their families a very Happy, Prosperous and Healthy New Year from all members of the Executive Committee and thanked all for their co-operation during the year.

ii) This year we met for the whole year as there was no effect from pandemic and we had three full days Musical programme, one picnic and a five days of tour in England.  He requested for more response and participation from members.  Sadly, we lost many members due to various health issues and it shows that we all are getting older and must do exercises and Yoga to keep healthy.

iii). We will try and bring new Programmes if we get the opportunity.  We have moved forward by introducing a new data system and making plastic cards for Membership Cards, which will show members' photos.  Our Secretary - Purnimaben Mehta is to be thanked as she has put in lot of hard work behind the new system with the help of Piyushbhai Shah - our Web advisor, who has also saved us more expenses.

Secretary Purnimaben Mehta announced that the new system was also done with the help of the Executive Committee members.  She also said members will have to bring their Membership Card, when ready, at our Thursday gatherings.

2). Today we had Yoga by Nirmalaben  Iyer of the Yoga Global Life. She conducted Yogic poses in slow motion toning up body joints and muscles.  She also did 'Savasana' and 'Surya Namaskar emphasising how to do the same correctly.  Members enjoyed doing the Yogic poses with her.  Many thanks from NVK.

The programme ended with the tune 'Maitri Bhav nu pavitra zarnu' - bringing friendship, love and respect for all others, initiating a feeling of brotherhood among all and in turn leaves no room for harm, deceit or quarrelsomeness with anybody.

Members enjoyed the programme by singing together with the reciters.
