2. Donations:

• £60 for Chaas from Sudhaben and Vinodbhai Kapashi for the month of October on the occasion of Vinodbhai's birthday which was on 23 July.
• They also donated 18 packets of biscuits; 100 teabags; 8 pints of milk and 1 kg sugar for this afternoon tea event.
• £25 from Jaswantiben Narottam Shah on the occasion of her Birthday which was on 14 July.
• Packets of biscuits from Jyotiben Vibhaker birthday song.

Many thanks to the above donors on behalf of the Kendra.

• Donation of biscuits-For the last two weeks, people have been leaving biscuits in the kitchen area without telling anybody. If you donate biscuits, please let one of the committee members know. If you don’t want to announce your names, we will respect that. We need to know who has donates biscuits.

3. Afternoon programme - We had an interesting session of quizzes and bollywood songs. To begin with, a few questions were asked which were related to English names. Then a few questions were about the London Underground stations. People were asked to name the station from a clue provided to them. Similarly our members were asked to name a Bollywood actor from the clues given to them. However our members thoroughly enjoyed singing the songs. Those who normally do not sing were encouraged to sing at least a few lines.
