1. SPONSORSHIP:

We welcome sponsors for chaas-£60 per month. Please give your name to Ella Shah at the front desk.
We also welcome lunch sponsors-£551 for full standard lunch. Please speak to the President.

2. Whats App registration - Mandatory.

Everyone attending must register for catering purpose.
Members are once again reminded to vote in NVK registration group poll by every Monday.
Your registration on whats app group will help us get accurate estimate of attendees each week, allowing us to make proper arrangements for catering purpose. Therefore, all members are requested to register their attendance by every Monday.

3. Reminder of Photography and filming notice:

Please note that photographs and/or video recordings may be taken during this event by or on behalf of NVK. Images may be used to promote the charity’s work in printed publications, on our website, social media channels, newsletters, annual reports, and other fundraising or promotional materials.

We process photographs and video recordings in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Where appropriate, we rely on our legitimate interests to record and promote our charitable activities while respecting the rights and freedoms of individuals.

If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform a member of the Committee on arrival. We will take reasonable steps to ensure your wishes are respected.

4. On Thursday 20th of August we are closed. Instead, we meet on Wednesday, the 19th of August with yoga classes as usual. Generally, we meet on Tuesday instead of Thursday when the Hall has been hired out. However, lately it has been difficult to arrange lunch with Meera our caterers as they are closed on Monday and are not fully operational on Tuesday to provide us lunch. hence the shift from Tuesday to Wednesday.

5, Donations

£51 from Vasumatiben and Navnitbhai Vora for both their birthdays. Vasumatiben's birthday on 10th of August and Navnitbhai's on 14th of August many happy returns to both of them.
£ 60 chaas from Dhirendrabhai Sanghrajka for the month of August
£25 from Pratima Mandalia as Khushi bhet on grand-daughter Isha Shah attaining her degree in international politics.
Table clothes have been donated by Bhupatbhai and Ranjanben Gandhi.

On behalf of the Kendra, thank you to all the above donors.

6. Report of the afternoon programme held on 6th August 2026

We played Bingo in the afternoon. As usual two games were played and the prizes were awarded as follows;

First Game: Any one line:- Ranjanben Gandhi.

Any two lines: three people achieved this (i.e. Saroj Shah, Vinod Mehta and Meenaben Vora). After drawing a winner's card Meenaben Vora was given the actual prize.

Full House: Manjulaben Patwa.

Second game: Just one prize was given and that was for the full house. This went to Kokilaben Galaiya.
