4. Report of the afternoon programme of 25th August 2026
Today, being Tuesday, we had a session of Yoga and aerobics by Nish Hirani,
After lunch we celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan. After an initial introductory talk, Members from the audience were encouraged to come forward and sing appropriate songs of this particular festival. Some 8 to 9 people took part and sang songs. After this we did a bit of religious/cultural ceremony. This time threads of Nadachhadi were used to tie round the wrists of 'brothers'. Most of the ladies performed this sacred ceremony. Earlier the pieces of Nadachhadi were blessed with the help of Vaskshep and chants of mantras.
Overall our members were quite happy.
**CORRECTION**
Please read 'Krishnaben Mehta' instead of 'Krishnaben Shah' in the announcement e-mail of last week under 'Report of afternoon Programme of Wednesday 19th August.'
