1). Today's Warm-up Yoga was done by Jayeshbhai T Shah and the main Yoga by Manishaben. She conducted several Yogic poses to tone up many body muscles whilst synchronising the movements of legs and hands. Also conducted were 'Asanas' for problems with bad back, sciatica and for swelling of feet. She gave many health tips, too.

Our member – Jasuben Mehta gave a health tip on Bay Leaves. Many thanks to all from NVK.

1). President – Vinod Parekh announced : I) Manishaben – you have made a good change today by performing Yogic poses with Garba music and all enjoyed this.

ii) Last week we had a programme of “NVK has got Talent” and very few - ONLY 5 - members came forward to show us their Talents.  With our large membership and considering we have taken many new members from this year, many more members should have come and shown their talents. In future we request more members should come and give their names.

DAY TRIP TO BRIGHTON & CRAWLEY

It was cloudy and rather chilly at the Kenton Library Compound in the early morning of 23/05/23 and yet many persons joining in the picnic to Brighton arrived quite early. All were cheerful and cracking jokes, though wearing sweaters or jumpers, when they gathered for the arrival of the two Coaches.  At around 9.15am the Coaches arrived and everyone came near the Coaches they were allocated beforehand.  It took over half and hour because many of the elderly persons had difficulty in climbing on the Coaches.
