1). President - Vinod Parekh announced : a) Our forthcoming programmes : On 19th Oct '23 we will celebrate Navratri Festival this year with a full day of music with a live band from India.  So will have wonderful 'norta' with Raas Garba to enjoy. We need 'Dandia' as our stock of Dandia is missing from our store. If you have spare dandias at home, please bring here so we can use it at our graba programmes - if you decide to donate these to NVK, that will be a great idea.  Guests will be allowed at £12.50.  Any donation towards the cost of the Music Group is most welcome.

1). President - Vinod Parekh announced : i) Proceeds of Sale of Excess food - for 7th & 14th Sept was £30 and for 21st Sept was £23.
ii) We request all members who are parking their cars in the inside Parking Bays to ensure that they first park in the allocated bays on both sides of the parking ground, until these are fully utilised till the end and then only park in the centre space.  Please follow this system so that other cars have no difficulty in parking properly.

Last Thursday when we met in the upstairs Hall, someone had forgotten a packet of some fragrant wood chips.  Also some weeks ago someone had forgotten a white Sweater.  We request the owners to come and collect their items.  b). Paryushan Parva has just been finished and Jain members had taken part in all the celebrations.  We wish all are "saata ma" and also I and my Executive Committee wish everyone "Micchami Dukdaam".  If any of us had unknowingly hurt your feelings in any way, we ask for forgiveness.

ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURS - 14/09/23

1). Today's main Yoga Session was conducted by  Manishaben as usual.  She emphasised on toning up hip muscles etc.  Many thanks from NVK. 

2). Today is the third day of Jain 'Paryushan Parva' and I wish all Jain members "Sataama Chhone".  Our greeting to all.

NAVJIVAN VADIL KENDRA – ANNOUNCEMENTS & PROGRAMME ON THUR - 07/09/23

1). We Closed Yoga session today at 12.15 pm and started the Shri Krishna Janmashtami programme. Our Cultural Committee convenor - Dr. Vinodbhai Kapashi gave  an introduction to the whole programme today. He explained in detail why we celebrate Janmashtami.  He then informed members that we will start with a procession, then Aarti and 'Matki Fod'.  Followed by a Garbo and then play dandia raas.  He requested members to join in all celebrations.
