DAY TRIP TO BRIGHTON & CRAWLEY
 
It was cloudy and rather chilly at the Kenton Library Compound in the early morning of 23/05/23 and yet many persons joining in the picnic to Brighton arrived quite early. All were cheerful and cracking jokes, though wearing sweaters or jumpers, when they gathered for the arrival of the two Coaches.  At around 9.15am the Coaches arrived and everyone came near the Coaches they were allocated beforehand.  It took over half and hour because many of the elderly persons had difficulty in climbing on the Coaches.

1).  President - Vinod Parekh announced :  * Instructions for those joining in the 23rd May Trip to Brighton/Crawley :
i). Collect your tickets for Coach - whether you are in Coach 1 or 2
ii). You must reach latest by 9.10am at the Kenton Library and if you come early stand inside the Library Compound and not on the footpath. We plan to leave by 9.15 or latest 9.20am.  We will return around 6.30 to 7.00 pm

1). President - Vinod Parekh announced : * We request those members who are facing the Stage and performing Yoga by, both keeping a chair for themselves and their belongings and doing Yoga with mats. This is now not possible due to many members coming to our gatherings due to good weather.  Henceforth no one will be allowed to occupy both the chair and also the mat.  You have to choose either use the mat only or do chair Yoga only so that more members can do Yoga.

1). President – Vinod Parekh announced : * We have noticed that since last several weeks lunch demand for Disabled persons has increased highly. We have thus streamlined the service for lunch calling for Disabled person. We are going back to our old system and they will have to go only when their line is called up for Queuing. There will be 2/3 tables reserved for them. When they sit, the Volunteers will then serve them. Wheel Chair persons will stay where they are and lunch will be served to them. Those with Carers can go and help themselves.
