Today’s lunch is sponsored by Manjuben and Ravjibhai Pindoria on the occasion of the marriage of their daughter Nitisha to Dinesh on 27th Sept.  Our heartiest congratulations and Best Wishes to the newly wedded couple and many thanks to Manjuben and Ravjibhai on behalf of Kendra.

Chaas and biscuits for the five Thursdays in October is sponsored by Madhuben Gulab Shah and Kantaben V Shah.  Many thanks to both of them on behalf of Kendra.

Today we had FULL day program of “Blood Pressure & Health Awareness” program. There were speakers from different fields. All members were given blood pressure measurement. We had talk on diet and reducing salt in our diet. We had talk on blood pressure and stroke and heart problems. Almost 240 people participated. Manisha gave a small session of yoga also. British Heart Foundation sponsored the lunch and paid for other expenses. NVK gave a donation of £151.00 to their funds.

1.DONATIONS : £50 from an Anonymous lady donor.  Our thanks and best Wishes for whatever she is celebrating.
                              £25 from Kusumben Doshi, who celebrated her birthday recently. Our thanks and congratulations and we pray that she enjoys many more birthdays.

ANNOUNCEMENTS ON THURSDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2014

1.It is with a deep sense of loss and sorrow that we have to inform the sad news of ‘Arihantsaran’ of our member - Vasantben Anupchand Parekh, Age 80 on 5th Sept.  We request all members to stand up to observe a minute’s silence to pray for her soul to rest in eternal peace.  We also send Kendra’s condolences to the late Vasantben’s  family. The funeral will be held at the Golders Green Crematorium tomorrow- Friday at 3.00 pm.

ANNOUNCEMENTS ON WEDNESDAY 3RD SEPTEMBER 2014

1.‘Chaas’ during the month of September is sponsored by Manjulaben Patwa.  Many thanks to her on behalf of Kendra.

2. After lunch today, we are having an ‘Antakshari’ programme  and as usual at Tea-time, Kendra will provide tea and biscuits.

3. Next Thursday, 11th Sept we will have some games.

4. Our 12 day trip to Turkey from 11th September has now 3 seats available (also, only if airline tkts are also available) and if anyone is interested, please inform Jayantbhai Doshi or Chimanbhai Sheth.
